First of all, you should prepare for 2 keys: an original key & a new key.
Now let’s get into X100 Pad3:
Connect pad with WIFI, then go to main menu.
Immobilization >> Benz >> Agree >> Infrared Key System
Add key >> OK >> Follow The Prompts:
1. Connect KC501 to the X100 Pad3;
2. Insert the original car key into the EIS;
3. Wait for 5 seconds, then remove the original car key from the EIS.
4. Press “OK”
Continue to press “OK” for selecting communication methods >> Read via OBD >> Automatic Identify
Reading EIS information, then press “Next”>> Repeat operations as before:
1. Insert same original key into the EIS;
2. Waif for 5 seconds, and then remove the key from EIS
3. Press “OK”.
Insert the same original key into infrared key jack of KC501, press “OK”.
Wait for about 5-15 minutes…
insert the original key into EIS(without turning on the ignition switch), wait for 30 seconds, pull it out, and reinsert it. (You may need to try several times to start the car normally.)
OK >> Record the password, and press “OK”>> Input the key location to be generated, press “OK”.
Insert the new key into KC501 infrared key jack, then press “OK”.
The new key has been written successfully, press “OK”, completed!
Finally check the new key to see if it works. Maybe you should insert & remove the key for several times. Then test the remote function. Okay, both keys can work perfect.
