How to use Xtool X100 Pad3 (X100 PAD ELITE) Plus KC501 programmer to add a dealer key for Audi 2014 A4L? This is a tutorial to show the procedure.
Here are two Audi smart keys, the left one is the original key, and the right one is new key to be programmed.
Diagnosis >> Audi >> Agree >> 4th/5th immobilizer system
Turn on ignition switch, press “OK”.
5th immobilizer system >> Match the key >> Read immo key data>> Rename file, press “OK” to save
Turn ignition on, the condition of the missing keys all, open the car headlights, and the brakes and then confirm. Press “OK”.
Operation is completed, press “OK”.
Press “Show immo key data”, it will display data including VIN number and keys number. Press “OK” to continue.
Make dealer key >> OK
Connect KC501 with X100 Pad3, and power on it.
Bound the device or not? Yes.
Binding success, press “OK”.
Press “Create A4/A5/Q5 key” to start programming.
Put the new key to KC501 slot, press “OK”.
Make dealer key success, press “OK”.
Match the key >> Input number of keys to match, press “OK”>> Turn on ignition, press “OK” (Insert one dealer key into ignition switch or make it close to the induction coil when all key lost)
The dashboard is now showing “1/2”, remove the original key from ignition, and change the new key to insert it. The dashboard is showing 2/2.
X100 Pad3 prompts “Finish” meanwhile, press “OK” to complete. New key has been programmed successfully, let’s test the keys.
Both 2 keys remote works well, and can start the ignition normally.
