This article guides how to use Launch X431 Pad V to calibrate CVT oil pressure for a Toyota Vellfire 2015. This function is used after replacing CVT fluid or ECU. Following is the operation procedure.
Connect X431 Pad V to OBD2 port, press
Local diagnose >> Toyota >> OK >> 16PIN DLC(Europe and other) >> -2018.01 >> OK
System selection >> Powertrain >> Engine and ECT
This ECU controls fuel injection, ignition timing, knock control, idling engine speed, self-diagnosis function, and a backup function in extraordinary circumstances,s, etc…Additionally, it controls the automatic transmission.
Press “OK”.
Special function >> Reset memory
This function is used to delete the learned memory in the ECT ECU. A memory reset is required after automatic transmission or valve body replacement. Press “OK”.
Memory reset is complete.
Please perform the following operations:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and back ON;
2. Drive the vehicle in a “stop and go” pattern for approximately 15 minutes.
CVT oil pressure calibration >> OK >> OK
Please perform the following steps before beginning this procedure.
1. Keep IG OFF for the 30s;
2. Cycle IG ON(ready OFF/engine OFF) and wait for at least 2s;
3. Start vehicle(ready ON/engine ON) and wait for at least 5s.
Now calibrating, please wait…
CVT oil pressure calibration is complete.
Remember to check and delete all DTC at last.
