How to use ThinkCar Pro OBD2 scanner to read data stream and fault codes for a 2014 Honda Accord? Now I will show you the steps in details.
In the first place, turn on the ignition, you should insert ThinkCar Pro to the OBD2 port of car, the power and Bluetooth indicator will flash when connection is successful.
Open ThinkCar Pro app on smart phone:
Go access to “All System Diagnostic”, it will auto-scan the VIN of car…
Read car information succeed, tap “OK” to continue.
System Selection >> PGM-FI/Diesel (Engine System) >> OK
There are 4 functions you can perform: read fault code, clear fault code, read data stream, and read freeze frame. Now we will go to read data stream first.
Read Data Stream >> Manual Select >> OK
Turn on the car to check if there are any difference in data.
Tap “Combine” will allow you to read the changes of waveform in multiple options. Now we will select several options to have a check, it only allows to select 4 options one time. Tap “OK” after selection.
Here we go, it is showing the changes of waveform for 4 selected options.
Exit back to “Functions” page, go to “Read Fault Code”.
It will show you the diagnostic trouble codes.
To get a diagnostic report, tap “Report” on the bottom.
As you can see, professional report was generated.
