OBDSTAR MT502 Test Platform can support power on, test, and verify most brands of electric scroll compressors by sending a CANBUS signal. It adopts the latest 3.0 APK operating platform to help automotive technicians to do maintenance.
This is a demo of using OBDSTAR MT502 to test the Tesla Model Y compressor by the bench.

P004 adapter
P004 ECU clone jumper
High voltage jumper
High-voltage DC power
Tesla Model Y compressor
*Note: please ensure the MT502 test platform is in charging and communication during the process.
Procedure
Test platform >> Agree >> Compressor >> Latest version >> Brand >> Tesla >> Tesla Model-Y SANDEN 1582668-00-F
Connect according to Guide & Pinout at the bottom left of the screen.
After the harness connection is completed, press “Start”.
As we can see, it’s normal for the current range to fluctuate a little around 330V.
Turn on the ignition and press “Start”.
The test command has been sent.
Now we can observe the change in voltage and current.
Press “Stop” and turn off the ignition.
The compressor driver test is completed.
