How to use iprog pro for VW Skoda 2013-2020 mileage programming?

Question on Iprog+ Iprog Pro Programmer V84: when using it for VW/Skoda 2013-2020 mileage programming, will I directly insert the adapter into the socket of the computer? or will I dismantle the dashboard to connect Flash IC?
