Looking for a tool can erase 160DOWT? read this post for cheap & working tools or expensive tools.

Yanhua Mini ACDP + module 4: cheap

Delete it…. And write again 100%… Without issues…

Answer: cg prog work. I have it and tested, erase this function is grayed out but lower mileage works!
Question: can cgdi read/write id part of 160wt?is working every time when you do it or need luck and is 50/50 chance to sucess like with rosfar,etc..
A: for km and vin reset I use r270 cas4 bdm prog old 2-3 years
work for all 160 (Q,WT ) erase km in 20 sec never hade problem
for chip id read I use multiprog M35080HD read chip id 35160wt,160DOWT
change vin in 35128 and 35160wt
for km reset (not reset lower down) use cgdi prog with special 35160WT adapter(not work with35080 adapter)
tested on 2 f30 (6WB and 6WA)lower km from 170000km to 16km take cca 40 min
enigma tool cant erase or lower km on 35160WT memory only on g series 35128.

Option 3: Yanhua Mini ACDP + module 4
SOLVED !!! Just want to share my experience on trying to reset (adjust) mileage in new BMW models (after 2013) coming with the bloody 160DOWT chip installed.
did search the internet thoroughly and found no cheap way to my problem or better said, NO WAY!!. But the solution came from Yanhua who made a brilliant tool for this purpose. The Mini ACDP tool!!! Thanks to them I can now sleep well and long because I know that somebody decided to make an affordable tool for people not ready to spend a fortune on a tool to do simple and cheap jobs on BM’s. It’s TRUE!! Mini ACDP tool can erase and change mileage on ANY 80DOWT or 160DOWT!!! Thanks YANHUA!!! Great job done!

Option 5: SMOK eraser……Not work
Just bought it and doesn’t reset mileage on original chip coming in cluster. You have to use the ridiculous expensive emulator because the chip has ID and must be ported into the cluster along with a erasable 160DOWT! Not a professional way to be honest. Wasted 200 euros for nothing! Mini ACDP changes the mileage in the original chip!
In conclusion:
A simple cheap CGDI Pro9s12 35160WT Adapter or an XHORSE 35160DW Chip can solve the red dot problem after correcting mileage, etc.
