This is a tutorial on how to perform 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLS Level Calibration with LAUNCH X431 PAD V Elite. The vehicle has just replaced the level sensor and has two DTCs as follows:
U042700 – Impossible data were received from the electronic ignition lock.
C156E00 – Calibration of the vehicle level was not performed.
How to do Mercedes-Benz GLS Level Calibration?
1. Choose [Special Function] of the air suspension system on X431 PAD V Elite, then choose [Teach-in Processes] >> [Level Calibration].
2. Turn on the ignition switch and choose OK.
3. The values are not within the standard value range. Wait for the vehicle to adjust within the standard value range automatically. Click [Continue] >> [F3].
4. If there is no measuring tool, select the middle value to enter the left front incline angle, right front incline, left rear incline angle, and right rear incline angle. Click OK.
After confirming that the values are correct, click [Continue] >> [OK] to exit.
5. After successful calibration, click OK.
