This post is showing the procedure of cutting a HU66 key bitting with 2M2 Magic Tank machine, which applies to VW & Audi car locks.
Lock profile:
The lock has 8 wafers, 4 depths, the deepest cut is 4, the shallowest cut is 1. HU66 lock has 2 kinds of wafer group, one is array of 1357, 2468, the other is array of 1256, 6478.
This is original key to be copied.
Open MagicTank app on a smart phone:
Cut by bitting >> Vehicle database >> Input key info: VW, HU66/HU162T-3
CC >> HU66 >> Cut
Put the original key on clamp, fix it flat.
2M2 Magic Tank starts decoding the key…
Remove the original key when machine stops, change the blank key on clamp to fix it flat.
2M2 Magic Tank starts cutting the key…
Clear the metal fillings when 2M2 machine stops, turn over key to cut the other side.
Key cutting was completed!
Test the new key to make sure it works or not, alright, it does work.
Job has done!
