This is a tutorial on how to clear the BMW G Chassis Gen3 8HP Gearbox EWS ISN with Yanhua Mini ACDP on bench. Need to work with Module 40 or activate the Module 40 Authorization License with Module 11, Module 19, and Module 36.
Please refer to your purchased module model (Module 11, 40, 19, or 36) and connect the device to ACDP according to the wiring method in the corresponding diagram.
Open the ACDP app, and confirm in the top right that the ACDP programmer is bound.
BMW >> EGS >> 8HP Reset EWS(E/F/G Chassis, bench) >> 8HP_GEN3(G Chassis, TC275/TC277) >> Identify(CAN)
Please use the ACDP standard power adapter (voltage+ 12V, current >=2.5A).
Please connect ACDP with the gearbox.
Check whether the identified module information is normal.
Whether EWS status is: Unclecar
Save the screenshot.
Identify system info finish.
Identify(BENCH) >> OK >> Continue >> Continue
Check if the identified module chip model is correct.
Chip model: TC277
Save the screenshot.
Identify chip info finish.
8HP_GEN3(TC277) >> Reset EWS >> OK >> Continue >> Continue
Please save chip data.
* Please note to back up the file’s path, date, time, and chip model. The file name should end with “Orig.bin”.
Click “Continue”.
Ready to write chip data, please don’t cut the power or pull out the device during the programming!

Reset EWS data finish.
Go back to the Identify(CAN) again.
The EWS status is: Cleared.
