The Yanhua Btool BCP Key Cutting Kit is designed to safely open and disassemble the BMW BCP key inner shell without damaging the internal PCB board. This guide will walk you through the complete process step by step.
Step 1: Install the Key into the Key Clip
Open the key clip.
Align the key’s LOGO button with the inner column of the key clip.
Place the key steadily into the tool.
Align the limiting hole with the limiting pin.
Close the clip tightly to secure the key.
Push the key clip into the key clip base plate.
Tighten the nut to fix it in place.
At this point, the cutting tool will be positioned exactly at the ultrasonic welding area of the side frame plastic, preparing it for cutting.

Step 2: Cut the Back Side of the Key Inner Shell
Start cutting from the far right side of the shell.
Align the leftmost edge of the blade with the rightmost edge of the slot.
Insert the blade into the gap.
Strike the blade gently with a hammer.
Stop when the blade reaches the locking notch.
Next:
Place the blade into the blade clamp.
Tilt the blade at a 20° angle and align it with the weld seam.
Strike the upper right area of the blade with a hammer to cut along the weld seam.
Once the cutting reaches the fixture groove, switch to a scalpel to continue.
Scalpel operation:
Keep the blade facing right.
Insert the tip of the scalpel vertically into the groove.
Move the scalpel horizontally so the back of the blade presses firmly against the left bevel.
Strike the scalpel gently with the hammer until the blade penetrates through to the bottom of the shell.

Step 3: Cut the Front Section of the Key Inner Shell
Next, move to the front side of the key inner shell.
Pay attention to the warning stickers:
Three grooves marked: “Don’t Cut.”
One groove marked: “Pry Tool.”
Follow these steps:
Cut the three marked cutting areas first.
Tilt the blade at a 20° angle and insert it into the gap.
Strike the blade gently to cut through the weld seam.
When reaching Area 3, remove the blade.
Reinsert the blade at an angle and align it with the weld seam again.
Continue striking the blade to finish the cut.

Step 4: Remove the Key Inner Shell
Now you can separate the inner shell.
Remove the off-pin blade.
Insert it into the clip on the front cover.
Insert the pry tool into the groove on the back of the key.
Apply force toward the side cover to pry the area open.
When using the pry knife:
Insert it into the welding seam.
Apply force left and right alternately.
Completely tear open the welding seam.
Repeat the same method for the front side:
Insert the pry knife into the gap.
Apply force left and right alternately.
Fully separate the welded seam.
Finally:
Remove the internal PCB board.
The PCB board should remain undamaged.
The BMW BCP key inner shell disassembly is now complete.
