Today I’m gonna show how to use Xhorse VVDI Prog&CGDI MB Tool to program a spare key for the Mercedes Benz W169 A-class when all keys lost.

Read & Save Data
Connect VVDI Prog, W169(ST12) adapter, EIS with a computer on the bench.
Start VVDI Prog software, so we can check the connection diagram if we’re not sure. Select correct info on the right side.
Type: 4-IMMOBILIZER
Brand: BENZ
Chip: EIZ-W169-V1-ST12(ADAPTER)
Click “Connection diagram”.
Click “Read”.
VVDI Prog starts reading and getting data…
Operation success.
Click “Save” to save the data file.
Program Key
Disconnect VVDI Prog, replace CGDI MB Programmer for connection.
Start CGMB software,
Load file >> Select data file >> Save EIS data >> Save >> Yes
Save file successfully!
The data now is on our CGDI MB Tool from EIZ, it’s already got a password because we’ve read it directly from EIS.
Generate key file >> Load EIS file >> Select data file saved >> Selected “VO51”, and one blank key position: 3 >> Generate
Generate success, click “Save” to save the file.
Put a new smart key into the CGDI MB key slot,
Read/write key >> Open file/write >> OK >> Select generation file
It starts writing automatically…
Write success.
If we read the key, it is with SSID and put into position 3.
The key can start the vehicle now.
Done!
