This article will guide you through registering and updating your Launch X431 PRO3S+ Elite diagnostic tool.
Initial Activation: Registration
Registration is a mandatory first step to activate your tool upon initial use.
1. Tap the application icon on the home screen to launch it.
2. On the screen that appears, tap Login in the upper right corner.
You will then see the following login screen:
From this screen, please follow the instructions that apply to your situation:
A. New User: Proceed with New Registration.
B. Registered Member: Log in directly.
C. Sub-account/Bound Tool: Use Technician login.
D. Forgot Password: Reset your password.
A. For New Users: New Registration
1. Tap New Registration to enter the sign-up page.
2. Fill in the information in each field on the form. Items marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
3. After inputting your details, tap Register. A screen for activating your device will appear.
4. Enter the 12-digit Product Serial Number and the 8-digit Activation Code (found in the password envelope).
5. Tap Activate.
Upon successful activation, a confirmation screen will appear.
6. Tap OK. You will be directed to the update center to install all available software.
Important Note: After registration is complete, the wireless connection between the tablet and the SmartLink C device is established automatically. No manual configuration is required.
B. For Registered Members
If you already have a registered account:
1. Enter your Username and Password.
2. Tap Login to access the main menu directly.
Note: The tablet features an auto-save function. Once you correctly enter your username and password, the system stores them. You will not need to enter them manually for subsequent logins.
C. Login with a Sub-account
If you have created a sub-account or have bound an existing account to this specific tool:
1. Tap Technician login.
2. Enter your credentials to log in to the system.
D. If You Forgot Your Password
If you have forgotten your password:
1. Tap Retrieve password.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to set a new password.
