Method 1: Repair Firmware via Device Settings (WLAN)
1. Connect the SmartLink C V2.0 to the vehicle’s OBD diagnostic port and power it on.
2. Wait for the device to finish booting.
3. Tap the Settings icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
4. Connect the device to a WLAN network.
5. Select “Firmware Repair.”
6. Tap “Start Repair.”
7. Wait for the system to download and repair the firmware automatically.
8. Once the process is complete, the firmware repair is finished.
Method 2: Repair Firmware Using Network Cable and Diagnostic Tablet
You can also perform the firmware repair using a network cable and a diagnostic tablet such as the Launch X431 Pro3.
1. Connect the device to the internet using a network cable.
2. Tap the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
3. Select “Firmware Repair” → “Start Repair.”
4. On the Launch X431 Pro3, select “Diagnosis Kit.”
5. Tap “Fix Connector Firmware.”
6. Click “FIRMWARE FIX.”
7. The main unit will connect to SmartLink C V2.0 via Bluetooth.
8. Wait until the system indicates the firmware upgrade is successful.
