The LAUNCH X431 IMMO Elite successfully programs the VW MAGOTAN MQB key. At first, it’s required to work with the X431 Key Programmer to generate a remote. The LAUNCH X431 IMMO PLUS is also applicable to the following operation process.
1. Generate Remote
Vehicle Remote >> VW >> All remotes >> MQB remote 434 V2 >> Generate
Burn successfully.
2. Backup IMMO Data
Anti-Theft Key Matching >> Key Learning
Please simultaneously connect the diagnostic connector and the X431 IMMO Elite programmer.
MQB Anti-Theft System >> Platform Mode >> Dismantle and read anti-theft data >> View Wiring Diagram >> D70F3529 >> Pin-up wiring diagram
Connect to the ECU accroding to the wiring diagram.
The current read/write data volume is large. To improve communication stability, connect via USB.
Read Chip ID >> OK
Backup Complete Data >> Save IMMO File
3. Generate Dealer Key
Flash&Eeprom Data Decryption >> Selet the previously read instrument data >> Confirm >> Generate Dealer Key
Reading the original key data for the 5th generation key is necessary. Please place the original key into the anti-theft key matching adaptor.
The original key data is successfully read. Please insert a blank key.
Click “VW”.
The dealer key is generated successfully.
4. Learn Key
Learn Key >> Input the number of keys to be learned: 2
Is the current key smart? Yes
Please put the key close to the induction coil and turn the start/stop button to the on position.
Attention:
1. Do not turn off the ignition switch during the key learning process.
2. Put the end of the key with the brand close to the induction coil during key learning.
3. Key learning failed. Online key learning is needed.
Place the keys to be learned around the ignition switch in turn.
Number of keys learned/number of keys to be learned: 0/2 -> 2/2
Caution: Do not turn off the ignition switch.
