Mercedes Benz Headlight Position
Connect X431 PAD V with OBD, press
Local diagnose >> Mercedes-Benz >> OK
Automatically search >> Confirm the VIN code, press Yes >> OK
Do you wish to carry out quick test? Press “Yes”.
Switch on ignition, press “OK”.
There are several fault codes, select
“XALWA_L – Left Xenon headlamp(E1n1), 9044 – the zero position adjustment could not be performed.”
Press “Enter”.
Switch on ignition, press “OK”.
Special function >> Teach-in processes >> Zero position adjustment >> F3
The zero position adjustment value will turn from “No” to “Yes”.
Go back to read fault code, the 9044 fault code is still stored.
Return back to
Clear fault code >> Yes
Clear fault memory completed, press “OK”.
Go back to read fault code again, there is not fault code now.
